Shelly Beach Amenities

The renewal of Shelly Beach Amenities to increase amenity and functionality of the beachside facilities.

Description

The site is located at the end of the Northern Beaches coastal walk — within Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve. The amenities building is designed to serve many different user groups, such as divers, ocean swimmers, beach goers, surfers, cafe patrons, dog walkers, and joggers. It is also designed to serve as a place for gathering and marker signalling its public purpose to passersby.

The transformation of the existing dilapidated public facility is to increase the beachside amenity while revitalising an important point of gathering along the promenade within an aquatic reserve of national significance — complementing the iconic beauty of Shelly Beach.

Status : Under Construction.
