Windale Library & Community Hub

A new library, community hall and commercial facilities for the community of Windale.

Description

Located in the Lake Macquarie LGA 20 minutes south of Newcastle, the Windale Hub is a new facility providing much-needed community infrastructure in an under-served region. The result of an initial design competition and six years of development, the design draws inspiration from the cultural richness of Windale and biodiversity of the surrounding area, while breathing new life into the commercial centre and providing locals with an inspiring place to come together.

This project was completed during my time at Adriano Pupilli Architects.

As the project lead, my involvement ranged from project bid & initial design competition, concept design, developed design, development application, construction documentation and construction services.
